Carly Martin

I’m a PhD student at MIT Biology studying plant genomics, synthetic biology, and peptidomics in the Weng lab at the Whitehead Institute as an NSF fellow. Previously, I worked on single-cell and spatial transcriptomics projects in the Macosko lab at the Broad Institute. I'm interested in -omics tools for the rapid characterization of new genomes and natural products, with an eye toward sustainability applications.
